Fall maintenance tips from NEWARN

Fall is a good time to complete some hydrant flushing, valve exercising, and sewer maintenance. If you are a community who does annual chlorination, the end of October is a good time to do so -- but remember to get some information out to your customers first. Social media is many times the best way to communicate to customers these days. A city or village Facebook page or local community chat boards often help to get information out quickly.

If you have needs for mutual aid, please use the WARN website to track these events.

Reminder there are still plenty of masks available through the NEWARN mask program.
