Benefit shoot raises almost $1,500 for Water for People

The Nebraska Section AWWA hosted the annual sporting clays event on September 18th, 2020, at Oak Creek Sporting Club near Brainard. There were 11 sponsors. Thanks to those who sponsored:

Weather was great for the thirty-seven participants who enjoyed 100 sporting clay targets and a long-shot station that was a 50/50 split pot. There were three flights, and the winning score for the 1st flight was 85, shot by Brian Mueller. The best score in the 2nd flight was 70, shot by Todd Pennticof, and the best score in the 3rd flight was 58, shot by Derek Olson. At the long shot station, participants paid $5 per shot and if they hit a target they were entered into the raffle. The raffle total was $315 and was split $155 to WFP and $80/$80 for the participants.

Initial estimates show a donation of just under $1,500 will be made to Water for People.
