Ag law specialist to lead sessions

David Aiken, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln water and agricultural
law specialist, will outline the state's water-policy outlook and other
issues in February at the Cornhusker Economics Management and Outlook Conferences.
Sessions are scheduled Feb. 13 in York, Feb. 14 in Sidney, Feb. 15 in
Cozad, Feb. 20 in Norfolk and Feb. 21 in Falls City.
Aiken also will talk about Initiative 300, the constitutional amendment
that regulates corporate farming in Nebraska. A federal judge struck it
down in December.
The conferences are sponsored by UNL Extension, a part of the university's
Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Cost is $25, and pre-registration
