Public Information Committee
Drinking Water Week was celebrated May 3-9. The committee sent letters to several mayors around the state inviting them to issue proclamations declaring Drinking Water Week in their communities, and the governor issued a proclamation. The City of Norfolk held a poster contest for 5th graders for Drinking Water Week. Winning entries will be submitted for the regular poster contest at the Fall Conference.
