Mark Doyle named president of MUD
Metropolitan Utilities District's board of directors today selected Chief Information Officer Mark Doyle as the District's next president, effective immediately. He succeeds Scott Keep who is retiring after a 38-year career at the public gas and water utility.
Doyle has seven years of service with the District as a senior vice president and 18 years as a board member. He joined MUD in 2011 as senior vice president and chief customer officer and was named CIO in 2012. He served as interim president for seven months in 2013-2014.
Prior to joining the District and while serving on the MUD Board, Doyle worked in information technology management at First National Bank of Omaha for more than 22 years.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration of Technical Studies from Bellevue University.
Doyle is a member of a variety of professional organizations including the American Water Works Association, MAPA Heartland 2050, Americas' SAP Users' Group Executive Exchange, Interface Nebraska Advisory Council, Omaha CIO Forum, and the Water and Wastewater CIO Forum.
He and his spouse, Aldona, have three children and a grandchild.
