Water for People Sport Shoot on September 6th
Save the Date! On September 6, 2024 at Oak Creek Sporting Club near Brainard, Nebraska, the Nebraska Section AWWA Philanthropy Committee invites you to shoot 100 sporting clays for fun and to benefit the Water for People charity.
We will start with lunch at 11:30 am and shoot at 1:00 pm. Also included this year is fishing: Toss in a fishing pole and get a lunker bass or bluegill while you are at it. Fishing is on a self-service basis before and after shooting and not part of the main event.
Registration information will follow in August, likely to be priced similarly to our event in 2023.
We are also seeking sponsors and prize donors: $100 for the full package like last year (banner, logos on materials, and signs at shooting stations). Let Marc Rosso know (mrosso@lincoln.ne.gov) if you are able to sponsor this year. Last year, our Section donated almost $800 to Water For People.
