November 2, 2011 - Poker Benefit for Engineers Without Borders

The group of us wanted to send out a reminder that we have put together a new activity for people at the annual conference. We would love to see you there and any friends that are interested. Please pass it around and lets fill up the remaining seats at the tables.

The Young Professionals of AWWA and NWEA have put together an additional event alternative for people on Wednesday, November 2nd at 9:00pm with a poker tournament. While the Young Professionals groups are putting together the event, we do not require that someone be of a specific age or experience in the industry.

This is specifically a social and charitable event and no financial buy-in is required to play. If anyone chooses to the Nebraska Engineers Without Borders for their causes, that is of your free choosing. There will be prizes for the top finishers, but we are still working on finalizing all of those. If you are interesting in contributing a prize for a winner, we would love to hear from you. :)

If at all possible, please RSVP for the event as soon as you know. We will have a pre-set number of seats and will need to structure the games accordingly. It is our desire to include as many people as possible and we donít want to turn away people from the fun.

We invite you and anyone else in the industry to come and attend. At this time, we are only emailing the invitation, so please pass it around to anyone else you think would be interested.

If you have questions or RSVPs, we have a few of us listed on the flyer as contacts or our emails are here. Thank you again,

Justin J. Stine, PE
