Please register your team in advance!

Backflow Challenge

Rich Koenig will host the Backflow Challenge and Ultimate Backflow Challenge.

Water-tasting contest

Is your water the best-tasting water in Nebraska? You won't know unless you submit a sample in the tasting contest.

Samples may be dropped off at the conference registration desk in the Younes Conference Center by noon on Thursday, November 8th. Your water sample should be in a clean container (at least half a gallon) and at room temperature when dropped off for inclusion in the contest. Winners will be announced at the Thursday evening banquet.

The Public Information committee will host a water-tasting contest, as it has done each year since 2009.

Benefit poker night

The Young Professionals committee will host a poker tournament. All conference attendees are invited to participate and help support Water for People. This has been a wonderful event over the last few years and we want to keep the positive momentum going.

Water for People Raffle

The Water For People committee is conducting a benefit raffle. Tickets are $10 each, or three for $20.

Children's poster contest

Exam prep

The NWEA/NSAWWA YP Committee is hosting a session regarding preparation for the Professional Engineering Exam. The presenters are individuals who recently passed the exam. This session is intended to give several perspectives on what to expect, and provide "lessons learned" related to the preparation. The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, November 8th. Additional details are summarized below.

Visiting dignitary

Our visiting dignitary is to be announced.

Past chairs breakfast

Past Chairs of the Nebraska Section AWWA will gather for breakfast at a time and place to be announced.
